RightMark Audio Analyzer 5.3 has been released. The test suite performs various tests of electroacoustical performance of sound cards and other real-time audio devices. Testing is accomplished by playing the test signals and recording them after they pass through the testing chain. New features include:

DirectSound mode for testing of 24-bit support on some soundcards (because of drivers of some soundcards have direct hardware access only in DirectSound API and have not direct signal path in standard MME mode)
