We won't go into details who are Plextor, you probably already know that they are one of the leaders in the optical drives market. Lately Plextor has always been on "the top of the wave" with their new products and technologies and thats why they've had the "King of Quality" mark on their products' boxes.
But their previous model DVD Writer (712A) was one of the few of their products that we couldn't say had "all the extras"... besides some minor problems with the firmware, that were resloved a bit later, there wasn't a Dual Layer writing support present (writing on 8.5GB discs).
Now here comes Plextor with the PX-716А - this new model can write DVD+R/-R discs at 16x speed and has writing support for Dual Layer discs. Read how well does it perform.
