My good pal Matt from 3DGPU received some official pictures from Nvidia which shou you the reference design prototype of GeForce FX. The board you see in the pictures has a yellow fan duct and a grill on the bracket which is close to final retail design, but will be of clear plastic then. Along with the pics came the following information: Second, the GeForce FX series will have two boards in it: GeForce FX 5800 Ultra: 500 Mhz core, 1GHz memory clock. Many of our board vendors have quoted $399 (US) as the price for their GeForce FX Ultra boards. GeForce FX 5800: 400MHz core, 800MHz memory clock. This will be priced at a lower price point than the GeForce FX 5800 Ultra. Head on over and give that lady a hug.
