Korean website DarkCrow has done an image quality comparison of the newly leaked 44.90 Detonators driver. They tested Detonator 44.90 against the 44.03 running on a GeForce FX 5900 Ultra using ATI demo's: Chimp, Lava Caves, Car, Non Photorealistic Rendering and Dogs. The funny part is that no Detonator with a version number before 44.90 could render any ATI DirectX 9 demo correctly! 44.90 still fails as it seems but it looks like Nvidia really worked out some bugs. There's no word on which Catalyst drivers were used.
