The little symbol well known as the "MSN butterfly" has all been removed from New York City's grounds. Authorities asked Microsoft to remove all of the MSN butterflies because they called it "graffiti." The graffiti was removed because Microsoft did not ask permission to advertise the MSN butterflies for their new MSN 8 promotion.
