Compaq has released new Windows XP drivers / control panel for their notebooks powered by the ATI Radeon 9000 GPU. Since this is an indicator where ATI reference drivers now stand, we expect a new Catalyst release in the very near future.
ENHANCEMENTS:
- Improves Pixel Shading. FIXES:
Corrects the following issues:
- Fn+F4 fails to toggle displays when a CRT is hot-plugged after boot
- Display problems occur when 3D pipes screen saver is actviated with a DVI display connected
- System may lock up after multiple fast-user switching and a 3D screen saver starts
