Microsoft .NET Alerts is a message and notification routing service that can be used to deliver customer communication to computer desktops, cellular phones, wireless personal digital assistants (PDAs), or any e-mail address?all based on the customer's delivery preferences.
This beta is for early adopters who want to take immediate advantage of new features that will be available in the final Microsoft® .NET Alerts version 6.0 release.
What's New in Version 6.0
With this release, Microsoft .NET Alerts is now implemented as a Web service. Alert submission and subscription management are performed through Web method calls. Version 6.0 will include the following features and enhancements:
