Mobile computing has become an important way of life that enables us to do more on the go. Today?s highly powerful mobile solutions mean that there is no longer any need for down time when away from the office. This is obviously very important and the fact that using a notebook, such as the MSI MegaBook S271, means performance will not be sacrificed, is also a big deal. The MegaBook S271 is particularly impressive as it is one of the first ever notebook computers to sport the latest up and coming mobile processor from AMD.
The Turion64 X2 looks to be a very impressive mobile processor series, as this bottom of the range entry did a spectacular job while operating in single channel mode. I cannot wait to see what the Turion64 X2 TL-60 can do with more memory, dual channel memory at that, and a more serious 3D accelerator. Nevertheless, this preview of the Turion64 X2 has been exciting and at this stage I am only going to consider this a 'preview' as there is much untapped performance to be had yet.
