MajorGeek says: You have a lot of choices in drive cleaners and security utilities nowadays and we can now add to the list a new program called MPC (More Powerful Cleaner). Some of the more popular utilities are mostly just drive cleaners with a few extra tools like CCLeaner - and although I use CCleaner I prefer a more in-depth cleaner and security tool. MPC can easily fill this void.MPC can clean your system cache, web cache, software game, social, video and audio and registry junk as well as system operation traces, plugins, startup and more. It can also secure your browsers by blocking websites, search protection and more. It can also automatically clean junk files at a pre-defined size limit or run on a timer, including when the system is idle. One thing I can't seem to find was the option to empty the recycle bin, something commonly found on most cleaners.The program itself is only in the 6 MB range but it will use about 55 MB of RAM but keep in mind that the program obviously needs to be running to do its job. That said, the program scans and does it job incredibly fast on our test machines compared to the competition. I felt comfortable enough testing this on our virtual machine that I installed it on my personal computer for long term testing. We will report back if we find anything new to add to this review.
