Microsoft V6 Windows Update - Beta

Published by

Thank you for your interest in Microsoft Windows Update version 6 Beta site. This site previews the next version of Windows Update. Before proceeding, please read the following terms and conditions carefully...

Warning Windows Update 6 includes pre-release software and a pre-release update service which may not perform as reliably as commercially released software and services, and may contain bugs or other errors that could cause the software, any software that it updates, any system it runs on, and any applications running on it to malfunction or experience impaired performance. These are for use solely by registered Microsoft beta testers and are provided for testing purposes only. Use of them is subject to the Terms of Use, and software is subject to any license agreement provided in connection with it.

Note If you choose to participate in this beta test, an Active-X control will be placed on your computer which will allow you to enter the beta site. Once this control is installed, you will always be directed to this site and will not be able to go back to the Windows Update Version 4 or 5 site. This will continue through the entire beta test period.

Feedback to Microsoft You may provide suggestions, comments regarding usability, bug reports, test reports or other feedback (collectively, "Feedback") to Microsoft with respect to the software and services. All Feedback is and shall be given entirely voluntarily and you agree that: (i) Microsoft may freely use, disclose, reproduce, license, distribute and otherwise commercialize the Feedback in any Microsoft product, technology, service, specification or other documentation (collectively, ?Microsoft Offerings?), (ii) you also grant third parties, without charge, only those patent rights necessary to enable their products, technologies or services to use or interface with any specific parts of a Microsoft Offering that incorporate the Feedback; and (iii) you will not give Microsoft Feedback subject to license terms that seek to require any Microsoft Offering that incorporates or is derived from any Feedback, or other Microsoft intellectual property, to be licensed to or otherwise shared with any third party.
