Microsoft To License SCO Groups Unix Code

News.com reports that Microsoft is going to license Unix code from SCO. This is really surprising. Recently SCO had alleged that part of unix code was copied to Linux, and it would sue large companies for IP (intellectual property) infringement. Although it is still not clear would SCO go forward with this threat and if it does, how would the home Linux user base be affected. But Microsoft licensing SCO's UNIX code does change the IP scenario completely.
