I was just browsing the Windows XP corporate update page and came across a couple of updates I've not seen before. All those listed under read more can now be obtained via the corporate update page! Read on.

Antivirus Software Keeps Files Open Too Long: This update resolves an issue with antivirus software that keeps some files open too long, and is discussed in Microsoft Knowledge Base (KB) Article Q309376. This issue can result in delays when you try to open a file. Download now to prevent your antivirus software from causing delays. Performance Monitor Service Time Zone Update: This update resolves an issue with the performance monitor and system monitor logs, and is discussed in Microsoft Knowledge Base (KB) Article Q308276. When the time zone setting for the monitor is set to your local time zone, the logs cannot be stopped. Download now to ensure that you can stop the performance monitor and system monitor logs on your computer. Restarting Windows XP: This update resolves a shutdown issue and is discussed in Microsoft Knowledge Base (KB) Article 307274. In Windows XP, if you click Restart in the Shut Down dialog box, Windows XP can stop responding. You might encounter this problem if you shut down and restart many times in succession. Download now to fix this shutdown issue. Update for Interrupted Installations Using Windows Installer: This update resolves the "Problems with Windows Installer Over Wireless Connection" issue with Microsoft Installer (MSI), and is discussed in Microsoft Knowledge Base (KB) Article Q309495. A problem can occur when an MSI package is being installed from removable media or over a network and the MSI package source becomes unavailable during install (i.e., Media is removed or there are network problems). Update to Windows XP Setup to Stop Volume Product ID From Being Shown: This update resolves the "Volume License Product ID Is Revealed During the Sysprep.exe Mini-Setup Wizard" issue in Windows XP, and is discussed in Microsoft Knowledge Base (KB) Article Q307316. This issue causes the Volume License Product ID to appear during installation. This update must be applied to your setup share. To apply this update, follow the instructions in the KB Article. WMI COM+ Update: This update resolves two issues with Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI), one in which an instance provider who is implemented as a COM+ provider is unable to enumerate instances. The other fixes a leak in the path parser used by a provider subsystem. Download this update to enable full functionality of COM+ providers (used by Application Center) and to improve reliability. RAS/Wireless Authentication Update: This update resolves an issue that prevents you from being allowed to authenticate when connecting to a network with a certificate-based remote access server (RAS) or wireless configuration. Download now to connect to a certificate-based RAS or wireless configuration.
