M$ .Net Screenshot!

Published by

I just received an Email from Phoenix and he told me, that he has found an exclusive screenshot from Microsofts Windows .NET system.
I have never seen a screenshot of it before but for me it is looking like a photo from the Tele-Tubbies ;-)
I hope I can get back to the old desktop... To see the picture, click the Read More button. Update:
Phoenix send some words about it, click read more and see what he is saying.

Hi people, Well you'll all be wondering if this is a fake and I share the same view as you people when I first found this. But under further investigation I found I now believe this picture is from Windows.net. I found out that Windows.net has been in development since at least November 2000 which is I found the first bit of information about it. http://windows-help.net/Newsletter/18nov2000.html Then with in the same page I found this link, which contains more information about as well as the specifications of this operating system. http://www.windows-help.net/features/whistler-preview.html As about the picture you are right I did find this to do with the object desktop produced by Stardock, but a present I believe this is beyond the abilities of the skinning software that they have produce. In fact I think that they have been working secretly with Microsoft to produce this desktop, but I could be wrong about that.
Their site address is:
http://www.stardock.com
The picture can be found at: http://www.wincustomize.com/library/accounts/The_Artist/dx/screenshot.jpg I also have found more information about it at http://www.certificationshack.com/windowsdotnet.htm If found this at the bottom of their home page: ?So when will we start to see this technology? Microsoft expects to release Windows.NET V1.0 and the Visual Studio.NET developer tools by 2001. The full features of .NET are not expected to be in place until 2002 at the earliest. At the moment other portions such as Exchange and SQL 2000 are now available.? I hope this information will help to sort things out but I will post more information about it when I have it.
