ExtremeTech is investigating on the latest release version of the Lindows OS. Lindows combines Linux stability with a Windows like environment. This latest version of Lindows adds a number of new features designed to help new users get up and running quickly. We were particularly impressed with the slick new flash-based desktop tutorial that lets newbies become immediately comfortable with how things work on the Lindows desktop. Experienced users won't need it, but beginners will find it indispensable.
