This was for years now my little secret but after nominating me with the VILLAGE IDIOT title i thought to share it with you.

THE PROBLEM:

This is only for those of you that have a NTFS partition(s) on your HD.

NTFS partition to store the operating system (C: drive) is actually a brilliant idea over FAT32 because it is much more stable than FAT32 in most cases faster (for large size partitions) and you get some extra features as well, mostly security related. But NTFS partition most critical performance parameter, thus speed, is the MFT table (something like contents table) which is sadly after few installs / uninstalls from 1 piece it should ideally be braked down to pieces.
