Iridium Browser is an Open Source modification of the Chromium code, with the promise of privacy being enhanced in several key areas.They do promise it will be fast, easy to use and more secure. The problem is they don't say how they accomplish this in any way. you can get the source code but there's no changelog that we could find.We did find that it was fast and as familiar to use as Google Chrome or any Chromium based browser.Another problem is that it comes with addons that can not be modified, disabled or removed, and their not official addons. This requires a leap of faith to use a browser promising to be better. However, if you want a more secure browser without wasting the time figuring out what addons you need, then Iridium Browser might be just what you need.
