Microsoft released a knowledge base article confirming a new Bug in IE6 SP1...
Under the status line ms says, this problem will be fixed in Internet Explorer 6 SP2. So perhabs MS will release a new version of the popular browser sooner than the next service pack for XP. Knowledge Base Article

Sounds likely enough given that XP SP2's release date has been delayed somewhat. Shouldn't have any new features to it either anyway.
