If I had Glass: Google's Campaign To Gain More Interest In Their Weird Glasses

Published by

This week Google is searching for explorers who want to take part in creating a future for Glass: will it be you?

Tweet them or follow them on Google+ and enter to win an invitation to be a part of "shaping the future of Glass."

For those of you who don't know, Glass is a device that you wear like you would a pair of glasses that has a screen and a camera attached. With this device you can look up directions, take pictures, record video, search, message friends, and more. All the while a little glass screen displays all this information right in front of you, hands free.

The problem is, this whole Project Glass thing is not free. Nope. If you are selected to participate you are expected to pat $1,500 and travel (at your own expense) to either NYC, LA, or San Francisco to pick up your Glass. How nice of Google. For those waiting for Glass to hit the market, better sit tight, no word on yet on when that will be.
