It also seems that there were mulitple companies who bid much lower - but did not recive consideration. Shocker.


The South African Government revealed it paid 40 million Rand or about 4.5 Million dollars for a redesign of their website. http://www.freestateonline.fs.gov.za/

On closer inspection the company that did the work used Wordpress, a free content management system for websites and a $40 theme. Yowza! That's a big labor bill.
