First Socket A Mainboard With 400MHz FSB From MSI for Sale: MSI started to sell its K7N2Delta-L (MS-6570) mainboard based on NVIDIA nForce2 core-logic with support of 400MHz EV-6 FSB. If I a not mistaken, this is the first mainboard with official support for the upcoming AMD Athlon XP ?Barton? processors with 400MHz bys that has reached retail-channel. As always, the first country to see the novelty is Japan.

Intel Delays 3.0GHz Processor With 800MHz Quad Pumped Bus: Earlier today Intel officially announced its first processor that supports 800MHz Quad Pumped Bus, the Pentium 4 3.0GHz. It came to a surprise when the company acknowledged that it will temporary delay the shipping of its new chip from releasing into the commercial market.
