Details of the forthcoming Halo sequel have been reportedly leaked on an official Xbox gaming forum. According to the post, Halo 2 allows four gamers to connect to Xbox Live on the same console at the same time.

Microsoft has not confirmed the information, but the posting, reportedly by a beta tester, have since been deleted.

The sequel to the best-selling Halo title is due to go on sale at the start of November.
