I thought I would give you guy's an update as to what's happening:

First don't bother asking for links to Half Life 2! Since HL2 is the intellectual property of Valve Software, we will not post any links to any source - regardless if this rumour is true or not. Any comments containing links or instructions will be deleted.

Currently I am talking with Gabe Newell at Valve Software about the situation. He had this to say about it.

We were sorta curious about those rumours, ourselves. So far they've all been bogus (e.g. a big collection of Madonna songs, a Call of Cthulu screenshot, etc...).

I've passed over my links to Gabe Newell and I am waiting for a reply. As soon as I have it I'll update you guy's.
