Valve's technology showcase, Half-Life 2: Lost Coast, is nearly here. We sent Geoff Richards right to the 'Source' to bring you the full scoop on HDR, Valve, Lost Coast, Day of Defeat and the future of PC graphics. Also featuring a cameo appearance from Piloux's Black Mesa!

"is nearly here"?

How many times have we already heard that. The los coast was already "nearly here" in May.

I guess this is just another of Valve's precise release dates announcements. Well, the R520 is also nearly here so no need for Valve to hold the free level any longer back.

Agreed. This probably won't show up until the middle of next year at best. Valve does a LOT of things right, but timely releasing games isn't one of them. Hell, just look at Day of Defeat.
