Valve has been mum about multiplayer in Half-Life 2 since the beginning. Valve once had Team Fortress 2 in the works, but that project eventually went silent as well. One exciting thing we do know, however, is that all of the original Half-Life's content will be ported to the new Source engine. And in the E3 demos, we were able to see CounterStrike on the new engine. What we saw was gorgeous. They lead with the popular level, Aztec. The textures were sharp. There was rain. And best of all, there were people shooting at each other.
