Some users over at PlanetDOOM forums have discovered ways of increasing image cache to RAM to increase frame rate and overall Doom 3 performance. Please use these tweaks at your own risk and always remember to make a backup of your config files!

There are some commands that will make Doom 3 texture quality appear much better out of the box.
For now if you want to test it, just run:

If you want any of the console commands to save, just put everything in an autoexec.cfg file in the main Doom 3 DIR. (Use notepad /save as type /all files)
