The DivX Schizo Beta 1 release is a bug fix release for DivX 5.0.3, and includes the first version of the EKG (Electrokompressiongraph) application, a new gadget from the R&D labs of DARC. The EKG enables an advanced video compressionist to reallocate data to specific scenes within a video clip.
We need your feedback regarding the new DivX Codec release and the new EKG application so we can make sure we squashed all our bugs and make sure we get back to building the features you really want to see. It's been too long since we've added some really cool features. This is going to change, since we're now back from making sure DivX moves beyond the PC and into all types of interesting non-PC devices.
