About a month ago our very own Mark Fox reported that Nvidia was developing Detonator 50.xx! Today The Inquirer.net's Fuad Abazovic reports that Nvidia are very close to releasing Detonator FX which may very well be the new name for Detonator 50.
The new driver is to be called Detonator FX and it will result in five to 50 percent of "ballistic" performance increases depending on the application while the realistic rather than the ballistic indicates the number will be between 20 to 30 per cent.
I nearly forgot to mention that The Inquirer has also posted the core/clock speeds for Nvidia's latest chipset NV35.

NV35: 425/850MHz core/memory (Non Ultra) / 450/900MHz core/memory (Ultra)
