Detonator 41.80 ''Hidden'' options

Posted by [NT], 12/24/2002 02:23 AM 9 comment(s)

This I believe we covered before with past 40.xx drivers but I thought I'll jog your memory and let you know how to enable some options in latest 41.80 drivers that are not enabled by default. Click on Read More for more info.

The screenshots below show some of the options that the coolbits+.reg will enable for you. That's just apart from all the usual functions enabled via the famous "coolbits" setting ;). You can download the coolbits+ file HERE. (Note, only tested on Windows XP)

The 2 screenshots below show what's coming soon to nvidia detonator drivers near you... ;)

Just because such options are there does not mean that they will ever fully be introduced to the public.

This has been the case with the rest of the non-functioning 'coolbits options' in the earlier drivers.

I doubt it. I honestly do not think so.

I actually believe nVidia will provide better controls for multimon/tv-out. At the moment the drivers are severely lacking in that department.

But guys, these are only CREATIVE drivers. I think the major number of us here don't have creative card. I know that the drivers will work, but i will wait for nVidia drivers.

Tried them. Again very poor performance. I will just keep my ASUS 31.40f.

Mark has ALWAYS been on the money about these things, I'm gonna go under the assumption that he knows something that we don't. ;)

Thanks again Mark, you make being an nVidiot fun! :D
