Asa Dotzler wrote in to tell us that Deer Park Alpha 2 candidate builds are now available for testing. As previously reported, Deer Park is the codename for Mozilla Firefox 1.1 and is being used by the Mozilla Foundation to refer to the 1.1 alpha releases in an attempt to dissuade end-users from downloading them. In addition to testers of the program itself, Deer Park Alpha 2 is intended to be used by extension, theme and Web application developers for compatibility and feature testing.
