Creative Releases New Audio Software for Audigy 1 - 2 ZS

Through Creative's Auto Update user can now download the new software that was earlier only avaible on newer cards like X-FI and Audigy 4. Now these new software are available for download on the Audigy 1 - 2 ZS including Media Source 3.
This might be Creative's attempt at a more streamlined and unified software and drivers.

I guess that "1-2ZS" means "from Audigy 1 thru other models , to Audigy 2 ZS ".

Totally agree with you on this one ChrisW.
For desktop Pc sound Creative is the best. Has the best features, decent driver support and are innovative. Most other companies release their sound cards with features similar to what creative have but 1-2 years behind.
Never had a driver problem with Creative cards and have been using them since the good old SB16 card
through the live. Currently using an old audigy platinum card but it still works ace.

Im sorry but what a load of BS. Creative had always been infront with desktop sound cards, and they are of good quality.
Just sounds liek the guy has had a bad experience with creative and just wants to rant about them.
As for the MS jibe, I think there doing a decent job, ok xp etc have had problems, but it aint like Linux etc havent.
Linux is a good os, but its a good few years behind Windows, and probably will be for a good while to come.

Totally wrong, Creative may be good for games but that's about it. If you're looking to do anything else (like recording or even listening to music) you should look into other alternatives.

This software isn't just for Audigy 1 - 2ZS, but you use this with the other recent Creative Sound Blaster's out there too. Like for example, I have an Audigy 2 NX and a 2 ZS Pro. But I also notice this software will work with the SBLive 24 Bit cards too. Have look, u might find stuff that might work with you stuff too
