One of my favourite tools just got updated! Cacheman 5.50 is available for download now. Major changes include the addition of a command line memory recovery utility, more efficient memory recovery, 2 new profiles and several new Windows 2000/XP tweak settings. A desktop shortcut is now available to recover memory without having Cacheman to run in background. If you have an older Cacheman version already installed it is recommend to overwrite the installation with version 5.50 in order to keep your settings.

Optimize your Disk Cache, Name and Path Cache, CD-Rom Cache, and Icon Cache to speed up your computer Periodically recover memory Tweak several system settings to improve performance Watch and monitor several important system values within Cachman's graphical user interface, including the computer system Overview page, History Graph, Logging, and Tray Icon.
