Brian has worked for a while now on this article, Benchmarking Editorial And Practices, which outlines our thoughts on benchmarking, some new policies we'll be adopting, and some of the recent issues that has cropped up as of late with the industry. As reviewers, we are finding it more difficult to trust these so called "optimizations" that are being put in drivers. We also showed this article to NVIDIA, since this is primarily aimed at them, to provide them a side of the story and got some interesting points there.

In this article, we hope to enlighten you with what we're going to be doing from here on out, and continue bringing you fair and knowledgeable evaluations of the products we receive in order for you to best make your choices.
