This is all you must know for fully support winXP driver for Rage-pro card driver (All-in-wonder-pro-agp2x is my card..). Full support for OpenGL (quake III), DirectX, and multimedia function like movie maker, ATI multimedia (play&record in mpg1 on the fly). Ok. Follow like this:
1. Download reccomended driver of ragepro at www.ati.com for Windows 2000 and download ATI multimedia center too.
2. Before install launch regedit and make this change:
a) HKLM/Software/microsoft/windowsNT/currentversion and change Product Name string (Microsoft Windows XP with Microsoft Windows 2000). Close regedit
3. Install win2000 display driver and reboot
4. Install win2000 ATImultimedia center b37 and reboot
5. Launch regedit for the follow change: a)HKLM/Software/Ati technologies/Desktop/0000 and change the key D3D and OpenGl from 0 to 1. b)Rename the last key (Microsoft Windows 2000) with the original (Windows Microsoft XP).
6. Reboot
ENJOY with quake 3, videocapture, movie maker... That's all folks! PS: use this system at your risk. If you fail the procedure re- install XP. It's the best thing....sorry.
