Just spotted this bit of info over at Rage 3D.

I've been hearing lots of rumors concerning the upcoming Catalyst 03.8 drivers, false rumors that is; and it was nice of Terry Makedon to drop by our forums and give a definite answer about all those. Here's what he had to say:

Wanted to pop in here just for a quick comment. I have had many, many emails and PM's asking about CATALYST 3.8. People are wondering if they are going to be a big performance set of drivers. The answer as I have always stated is NO.
