Asustek Computer has introduced its P4S800D-Deluxe motherboard supporting SiS?s 655FX chipset, an 800MHz FSB (front-side bus) and dual-channel DDR400 memory, for bandwidth speeds of up to 6.4GB/sec.
The motherboard will also include a proprietary Wi-Fi slot based on the 802.11b standard, enabling home wireless LAN using a software AP (access point). An integrated 3COM 3C940 controller enables support for Gigabit LAN, and an integrated audio codec enables six-channel stereo.
