The P4P800D-E has the ability to also upclock ram to either DDR500 or DDR533 with an 800FSB CPU installed. Knowing this and knowing that using an old version of AFUDOS you are able to force BIOS flashes from one board to another, cogs started turning in my head a little. We decided we would try flashing the P4P800E BIOS onto the P4C800E in the hope that it would indead give the chipset strap we needed and if possible gain the upclock ratio's the P4P800E offered...
