A quote from the article:
AMD Ryzen processors just got one step closer to launching last night at CES 2017 as AMD just lifted the embargo on their socket AM4 boards that are needed to run them. AMD AM4 boards for Ryzen-based CPUs will be using either the the X300 and X370 chipsets. AMD X370 chipset-based motherboards are the top of the line boards designed for users that are interested in overclockin and/or dual graphics. The AMD X300 chipset on the other hand is aimed at smaller form factor designs for small form factor PCs (mini-ITX). Both chipsets will support dual-channel DDR4 memory, PCIe NVMe SSDs, M.2 SATA devices, USB 3.1 Gen 1 and Gen 2 devices and of course PCIe 3.0 capability for graphics cards. The slide below shows all of AMD's AM4 platfomrs, what segment they are targeted to and some of the key features of each.
