We have already mentioned that weaker than expected APU sales and AMD's Q2 sales warning have created a huge drop in share value for the company.
Our well informed industry sources confirmed that AMD will have another round of layoffs that will be announced very soon. We don't have many more details what sort of jobs might be in jeopardy, but marketing and sales might be effected, as well as some less profitable parts of company. We don't want to speculate about positions and numbers, so we will have to wait and see.
