How smart is your car? Can you play .mp3 or video off of a USB hard drive? I recently found out that mine can. It was not by choice but out of desperation. I thought I forgot my phone while on my way to work (later to find out it was in my bag) and was too far from home to turn back. Always having my laptop with me, I remembered that I had a USB hard drive in my briefcase. I pulled over and got it out, knowing that I had most of my favorite music on it. I was desperate, I had a song in my head and needed to hear it. With fingers crossed, I plugged it into my car's USB port, hit the auxiliary button and in about a minute my files were displayed on my multimedia screen. Bonus!

Well, how about that? A true Smart Car (pun intended) but what makes this story more ironic? The external USB 3.0 Drive I was using is manufactured by ADATA.
