Here's a very interesting read called 3DMark03 Beta Partners that was posted at 3DChipset.com by G`Rilla... I have no idea where my head has been lately. I see strange things happening around me but my poor brain fails to register the true meaning of what I see.
What the hell am I talking about? I am talking about Extreme Tech and Beyond3D joining the 3DMark beta partner program and then exposing the NVIDIA "cheat" in that very test a very short time thereafter.
Now I thought that having a couple of news outlets joining that program was a little odd at the time but I did not think it through anywhere near thoroughly enough. I think it has now become very apparent just why those media peeps were permitted, no, asked, no, encouraged, no,... hell I dunno... to join that program. Let's just say we do not know exactly how it came to be but, it looks like we didn't have to wait very long to find out why.
