Popups and ads are commonly a way for a website to gain revenue, whether for profits, or just to run a site. Some say to click ads to support the website, even if you don?t intend on buying anything. To me this beats the whole concept of ads, because if everyone were to click ads and not buy anything, advertisers would see these as fraudulent attention, and not want to pay for online ads anymore, as they would be losing money in the process by paying websites for nothing. People should only click on ads and popups if they were genuinely interested.
