Xtasy *ATI 9200SE help please!

I really need help installing this driver, because when I re-installed XP, it got erased. And I can't find my CD with drivers. When I download drivers for it, it says please refer to a "Standard VGA driver" before installing. Thank you, please email me at yourshadowz@aol.com

Yup, go to Ati ( http://www.ati.com ) and download the driver. Don't worry the Ctatalyst is Unified driver which means it can used on any board with radeon chip. If the problem still occur, uninstall the previous driver, reboot then go to " Device manager " and install the standard VGA driver reboot and then install the Catalyst.

Good luck.

yea, go to device manager and remove the grapics adaptor. Reboot and you should be able to reinstall the catalyst drivers.

There is no driver installed. That is the problem. Catalyst won't install without a standard VGA driver already there, but I don't know which one to use. The RAGE drivers aren't compatible.

Extract the catalyst and then install using the device manager. Don't use the setup provided.

Good luck.

erm what card are u using now ????

http://mirror.ati.com/support/driver.html

tehre are driver Catalyst for all cardsa but Rage cards ... they use different drivers !!!
in the driver package is a driver cleaner ... AtiCimUn.exe
use it ... now let windows restart and let it find the 2 standard vga devices ... windows will NOT find drivers ... now use the setup to install but NOT for rage cards
there is a RELEASE NOTES !! cards are listed there !!
