I'm having similar issues with my own card (GF3). Wtf is wrong with these cards? (or is it the drivers?)

Funny all the reviewers complain that the ATI cards have driver problems. ie Radeon 8500. I have never had any problems with my card. The over all visual quality blows away my buddies Geforce3. On to your driver problems have you'll installed the latest AGP,chipset drivers for your respective boards? A friends system had similar problems until I updated with Via 4.37a and AGP 4.10. He is using latest driver from Leadtek whatever version that is. Good Luck.

There seems to be a big problem with the Nvidia 23.11 drivers. Many people have freezeups and or spontanious reboots. In fact quite a lot of people! Nvidia had better fix this in the next version. What good are hot drivers if they crash your computer? Try 22.80s their stable.

Go into your BIOS. Look around for something that says 'Plug & Play OS' and set it to false.
