WinXP Pro Restarting All The Time

i've got Windows XP Pro installed on my computer but it crashes way to often i'd be doin sumthing an then it would just restart????? :evil: can anyone help this is my setup

AMD Athlon 1.2Ghz

how many USB ports do you have? and what's your power supply... I've experienced the same when i installed 2 extra usb ports.. it was a power shortage

I have 2 USB ports i havn't installed any extra ports an i have a 300w psu

Try disabling the restart"feature", that might help.

Right-click my computer -> properties -> advanced -> restart and recovery -> uncheck automatically restart

if you have an onboard soundcard so try to update ALL the drivers

i've disabled the restart feature an i have the up-2-date drivers for all of my hardware an i don't have an on-board soundcard.

Ok i have had this problem too.
what i found that worked for me is that i was o/c the cpu too much. Sure it would start up and do all the right things, except for that. Hope it helps, let me know. Oh and if you got a geforce you need at least a 350+ power supply
