I was considering downloading WinMX and giving it a try. What do y'all think of it? It should be stable, no spyware, and allow for fast connections.

Yup, definitely a lot better than in the past ... and, of course, the more people get it, the faster I get my songs

WIN MX is cool if you have a broadband connection... but for the rest of us, 80% of the users are always queued-up....
my favorites are kazaa lite, and imesh (even though it has a cydoor pop-up engine in it) :x

It's good if you like mainstream music. There isn't really any rare music or little-heard-of artists like there was on Audiogalaxy..

audiogalaxy had a a web based community. winmx not. thats why.
