Winfast TV 2000 problem

I'm very angry and upset with leadtek. I have this Winfast TV 2000 (not the XP, the old one) and I wanted to update to windows XP. However, I found they do not have final drivers for this OS, just Beta's. I sended some mails and they answered me without too much attention and I also entered the page several times to see if there were updates. I found that they do not make drivers but they release Winfast TV 2000 XP and Winfast TV 2000 XP DELUXE. I believe they are playing with people because this TV cards are just the same as the old ones (I MEAN THE SAME) but WINDOWS XP supports them and they got a different software. Why don't they-instead of releasing new cards- just try to make drivers for the users that bought the first card trusting Leadtek. Thank you, if you know something or want to tell me something about leadtek or driver or Winfast, please post an answer. Sorry about my bad english

I have the 2000 XP (latest model) and am using Beta drivers anyway... why? because they have no more problems than the "full" release ones and actually have more bug fixes and features.

I dont know why people get so upset at having "Beta" stamped on the end of thier drives .zip file...

Hi Sergio,
Sound problems with the Leadtek cards may be caused by a conflict with Norton Antivirus.

If you Use Norton AV open the program, go to options, and disable instant messenger scanning. Norton AV seems to incorrectly detect the sound stream from the card as a virus. This causes the sound to fade in and out.

Hope this helps solve your problem. BTW the Leadtek card is, in my opinion a very good product. When your sound problem is solved I'm sure you'll be happy with it.
