I purchased Win Xp HOme OEm version. The cd is bad and i cant return it..


my aunt has a win xp home oem version that came with her pc and i was wandering if anywbody knows if i cant install my aunt win xp home OEM cd and use my product key that came with my bad cd and activate it...

since my product key is legal a think is possible ....

AHhh if the cd is bad tell microsoft and they should give you another one as long as you send them the bad one

ya, just use her CD and the CD-key you got... all XP OEM CDs are the same

i installed it using another cd and it work... no prob inatalling no prob activating...

If you contact Microsoft Supportcenter and talk to them.. They will send you a new cd after you returned the old one first.
