What program is used for .bin ?

Well I downloaded some software off of E-Donkey2000 and it doesn't know what kind of file it is. And when I open it with Win RAR, it says its corrupt or something is wrong with it. Is it just the files or what program should I use?

Don't listen to him lol... Bin is a ISO, you need to get a .cue of the same name and burn it with Nero, CDRWin or something similar.

Or you can use IsoBuster to extract the contents of the .BIN file even without the .CUE file that's suppose to go along with it. Extract it, THEN burn it. Smile

best way : get cue and burn with CDRWin 3.9x or FireBurner

mount the *.bin with daemon tools and make a (virtuell) cd to cd copy with any burning program (preferred Nero Burning ROM or DiscJuggler)

extracting the contents of the bin file with Isobuster or WinISO isn`t always possible or generates errors ...

i hardly think thats the 'best' way....

if you don't have the associated .cue file just get winimage (http://www.winimage.com) and open the .bin file with it. (Once you go to File, Open you need to set the file types to All Files). Then click the extract button. You now have the contents of your .bin file extracted. Now just burn the data to a CD as a regular data disc using your favorite CD burning program.

Burn it directly with CDMate, I think it's the best and the faster way!

Of course, if you don't like CDMate the other faster way is to get a program called BIN to ISO, it only covert BIN files to ISO files and it do it very well and then use your favourite program to burn (for ISO my best choice is BlindWrite)

*.C2D - WinOnCd
*.CCD - Clone-CD
*.CDI - Discjuggler
*.CIF - Easy CD Creator
*.CUE/BIN - CDRWin, Fireburner, Nero
*.GCD - Prassi
*.IMG - Clone-CD
*.ISO - CDRWin, Nero, Fireburner,Discjuggler, Easy cd
*.NRG - Nero
*.P01 - Gea
*.TAO - Duplicator

Problem solved, by the way, E-Donkey sucks.
