What is the best VIA AGP driver for Windows XP?

I have an A7V266 and WinXP Pro.

I'm currently using the VIA4in1 4.42 beta and the omega 1.182 detonator drivers..

any ideas folks? thx :wink:

You could try downloading the 4.43's. They are available at
http://www.viaarena.com in the drivers section and they are not BETA

The VIA AGP 4.30 b2 seems to be the fastest on my system (win.XP)
It also supports AGP 8x.

I am not sure if the 4.30b2 is included in the 4.43 4in1's.
Can someone answer this maybe?

VIA release notes claim used AGP driver is 4.30a - should be newer than 4.30b2

But it seems it's the older 4.30 dated 07/24/2002 (from .INF and AGP driver version number)??!?

I found the Via AGP 4.40 driver to be the best performance wise...
You can download it separately or download the Via 4in1 4.45s.

actually i got a kt333 chipset, and using via 4.45 Hyperion, they r just fine,before i was using 4.43, and with the new one i've got a good overall performance boost plus something like 250 3dmark more
