unable to install games .

while installing games into my pc, F12000, it stop halfway and a notice appear with (A device in the system is not functioning).Can anyone help me here.

Do you have this problems with all games?

1. try other CDR discs if not using original discs.
2. check you drives cables.
3. what about ide driver? using any alpha/beta sh*t ?
4. clean cd and drive (there are special cleaning kits for cds& drives)

Also make sure that there aren't any non-functioning devices listed in Device Manager -- if there's a red or yellow icon next to any of them, fix the settings in the driver, disable the device, or physically remove it from the system.

Some programs may be checking for the presence of a joystick etc. during installation, and that could cause the error.

The CD might be scratched or you have to try other CDs.
